Newtons Attic App will allow physics students to collect kinematic data from the Newtons Attic G-Force Machine via Bluetooth Smart Advertising packets. The G-Force is a 30 meter long physics laboratory that was built to perform classical motion experiments (position, velocity, acceleration). G-Force has sensors to measure these key kinematic parameters and broadcast them via Bluetooth.

The App will record data packets that contain the position, velocity, acceleration, temperature, pressure, humidity, air density, dew point, gyroscopic and magnetic field data. The App saves the data in CSV format which can exported into an email message for analysis back in the classroom.

Newton’s Attic, a 501c3 nonprofit founded in 1998 by Bill Cloyd, is dedicated to providing students with highly unusual educational experiences and providing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) educational resources to parents, students and teachers at all grade levels.
